Bihar State Assembly Elections 2020 is coinciding with the CA November 2020 exam so the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has decided to reschedule the CA exam for Bihar students. ICAI will modify the exam schedule and release it soon on its official website.
The CA November 2020 Exam was earlier planned from November 1 to 18. Recently the Election committee has declared the date for the State assembly election which comes around a similar time.
At the press conference held on 25 September, the Election Commission of India has declared the list of general elections for the Legislative Assembly of the Bihar State.
Elections are to be held on October 28, November 1, and November 7, 2020. Before the CA exams are scheduled to be conducted from November 1 to 18, 2020, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India rescheduled the exam dates of CA for Bihar students.

CA Exam 2020 clashes with Bihar elections
The CA May 2020 examination has already been postponed by ICAI and integrated it with the November 2020 examination sequence. Due to this COVID-19 pandemic, ICAI also extended the registration validity by one year, for CA May 2020 aspirants.
After the declaration of the Bihar state election dates, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has released a notice declaring that they are adopting steps to prevent the clash of election dates with CA exams 2020. The notice about ICAI contemplating to shift the exam schedule was released on the ICAI’s official website.
