A Scholarship has been announced by the British Council for Women STEM. The scholarship aims to support women who wish to pursue postgraduate level higher studies in the field of Science and Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics from the United Kingdom. Interested candidates can apply for the scholarship until mid-March 2021.
Over 100 women from India and 19 other countries will be offered this scholarship to pursue an advanced level degree from a university in the United Kingdom which will help and allow them to develop their careers in science.
Following are included in the scholarship:
- tuition fees,
- monthly stipend,
- travel costs,
- visa,
- health coverage fees.
An official statement mentioned that the scholarship is open to the women candidates who are dependants adn it also has a provision that considers a possibility that the scholar might also need a short pre-session course in English to help them achieve the language level which will be required to undergo the studies.
