A HARD HITTING REALITY UPCOMING! DO READ TILL THE END!

A bunch of assholes, probably from some college of North campus, sit in front of me , right here at the metro I’m boarding rn, talking about some girl on Instagram, commenting on her looks, that ‘Iske nain naksh or BAKI SAB acche hai, pr shakal nhi’.

Then, talking about the boyfriend/friend of that girl, says ‘ Ye ladka sahi maze le rha hai. Bhai tu ek kaam kr message krde ise.’

That’s when the second guy enters the conversation saying, ‘Bhai, maine Kia tha na’
To which the first guy questions ‘Accha, kya kya, Bata na.’
And the second guy whispers in a very obvious tone, ‘SEND NUDES!’

I could have clicked picture of those guys and made it another viral post, but, not to forget this is an everyday story, isn’t it? We have normalised these things to such extent that we have become like ‘WHO CARES!’.

So, as the women’s day has passed with empowerment promises, gender equality vows, ‘Wont treat women as objects’ promises, a day after the international women’s day is just as another day, isn’t it?

I feel disgusted that given the fact I’m a women and that I uploaded something on social media gives some assholes like these the right to judge, and not only judge but to COMMENT ON my body, my face, the people I hangout with and what not!

PS. I TOTALLY GET THE FACT THAT NOT ALL MEN ARE ASSHOLES, AND I RESPECT THOSE MEN WHO ARE GOOD AND DONT LIKE TO SHOW IT OFF OR TAKE CREDIT OF IT.
