Not more than two months are left for Board Exam 2021. Due to COVID-19, students faced enormous losses in the academic studies. Owing to the online mode of education, their syllabus was cut by 30 percent. So, a regulating body has suggested that class 10th and 12th students who are going to appear for Board Exam 2021 should be given a ‘Question Bank.’
For their feasibility, students should have a question bank out of which some selected questions would in Board. The regulating body is trying to mitigate the learning gap in wake of COVID-19.

EDUCATION MINISTRY STATEMENT FOR LEARNING GAP
The Education Ministry has also passed its statement in the wake of the substantial learning gap. The parliamentary decision of question bank came in the backdrop of the briefing that the Education Minister said.
He said that there has been a considerable learning gap due to COVID-19. Moreover, many students did not attend virtual classes due to poor internet connectivity.
PROMOTE VIRTUAL CLASSES THROUGH DOORDARSHAN
The Parliamentary Panel also suggested that the Ministry should expand the mode of virtual classes through Doordarshan and AIR Because it has a wider reach as compared to the Internet. On the other hand, it is cost-effective.

It was a challenge for many students, especially those who come from poor families to bridge the learning gap and online education. To reduce their anxiety and helping them in the preparation process, the regulating body suggests providing a question bank to the students.
