The Bihar Secondary Examination Board Chairman Anand Kishore has confirmed that the result for Class 10 Board examination 2020 would be disclosed on Monday at 12:30 pm. As per the given information, the result of Class 10 examinations 2020 is declared.

The announcement of the declaration of result was made through the press by the State Education Minister Krishna Nandan Prasad Verma. Every year, a press conference is organized at the declaration of result. But, the nation is burdened under COVID-19 pandemic. That is why there is a nationwide lockdown for a few days. Due to the critical condition of the state and to take care of the health of all the members along with the norms of social distancing, the press conference is not organized this year.

RESULT WAS NOT RELEASED DUE TO LAST MINUTE ARRANGEMENTS:

Earlier the result was going to be declared on May 25. But, as the arrangements for the declaration of result was not completed. So the result got delayed due to last-minute arrangements. As the result is declared, students can check it on the official website of Bihar Board. For checking the examination result, students should have their admit card along with them. In the previous years, the result was usually out in the month of March or April. But, this year, the nation is under lockdown for the month of March. That is why the result was postponed and it is released in the month of May. There are many other websites in which students of the Bihar Board can check their results. The websites are indiaresults.com, biharresults.net, jagranjosh.com.

STEPS TO CHECK THE RESULT OF BIHAR BOARD STUDENT:

1. Visit the official website of Bihar Board
2. Click on the “Results” tab present on the home page.
3. Select class 10 Matric Result
4. Log in using Roll Number
5. Fill Captcha code
6. The result will be shown on the screen
Download the result and take a print of the result for future reference.

PERCENTAGE OF PASSED STUDENTS:

According to the information provided, 50 percent of the answer sheets were already checked before lockdown and the result was supposed to be released on 24 March 2020. As the lockdown was extended, BSEB decided to revaluate all the answer sheets by following social pandemic norms.

Hence, the result is declared. 80.59% of students have passed the exams. When the student will be able to check his or her result, the list of toppers will also be shown along with their result. Some students are not satisfied with their results. But, they can apply online for rechecking and revaluation. Rs80 will be charged for rechecking. Himanshu Raj from Rohtas has secured the first position with 481 marks.

CBSE NOTIFICATION:

There are some exams remaining for class 12 of the CBSE Board which will be conducted in the month of July. And their result would be released as soon as possible.
