The Bihar Board Examination Board (BSEB) declared its class 10th Board results on Monday, i.e. 5th April 2021. This year, a total of 101 state students have secured a place in the top 10 rankers list. As per the official statement issued by the state board, a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh will be awarded to the 1st rank holders. Also, laptops and kindle e-book readers will be distributed as prizes.

However, the pass percentage was slightly less than the last year. The Bihar Board pass percentile for 2021 is 78.17 percent and was 80.59 percent last year. Also, a total of 16.84 lakh students appeared for the exams in February 2021. Hence, 12.93 lakh students did successfully clear the exams. Pooja Kumari, Subhadarshini, and Sandeep Kumar grabbed the first rank position. Hence, they had a score of 484 out of 500 marks.
The prizes awarded by Bihar Board :
The BSEB shared in-depth details about the prize distribution on its official social media handles. Hence, this announcement has been made a day after the announcement of results. The 1st rank holders will get the maximum cash prize value of Rs. 1 lakh.
As per available information, students who have secured the 2nd rank will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 75,000. They will also get a laptop and a kindle e-book alongside. Similarly, the candidates securing the 3rd rank will get Rs. 50,000 cash prize, a laptop, and a kindle e-book. Rank holders between fourth to tenth rank will get Rs. 10,000 each and a laptop.
Students unsatisfied with their marks can apply for scrutiny. Hence, they have to visit the official website- biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in Also, the last date of application is April 17.
