The elderly owner of Baba ka Dhaba has made a complaint claiming the misappropriation of funds. After the allegations made by the elderly owner, the south district police have started a probe. The owner said that several donations were made in the name of the elderly couple but only 2 lakhs were given to him by the person managing the funds.
Recently, Kanta Prasad, aged 80, shot to fame after a video of him went viral on social media. A YouTuber uploaded his video on his social media. The clip went viral and many people along with celebrities came forward to help the couple financially.
The owner of Baba ka Dhaba said that he was given a little over Rs 2 lakhs, but he has no information about the rest of the money. The donations were received in several bank accounts of the accused and his wife.
Prasad stated, in his complaint, that he tried contacting the accused several times and requested him to disclose the financial records regarding the total amount of money received, but the man kept on asking for some more time.
Prasad also said that the assurances have now turned into false promises and the accused along with his associates have not arranged for any good services to protect his interests, all this has led to a huge loss to him.
DU PHYSICAL CLASSES ARE UNLIKELY TO BE HELD THIS YEAR
Investigations are underway even though no case has been registered yet.
