India is suffering by the rising cases of the coronavirus pandemic. Owing to this critical situation, Delhi University again took the decision of conducting OBE for students. The varsity has already released the guidelines and instructions for DU OBE.

A notice is circulated on social media which states that some guidelines for open book exams. That notice covers the guidelines released for final year regular students, school of open learning and NCWEB.

DU OBE TO BEGIN FROM 15 MAY

It says that DU open book exams will begin from 15th May 2021. Moreover, Delhi University has already released the tentative date sheet for the students who are completing their undergraduate in regular mode. So, ex-students, students with improvement can also go through the date sheet and appear for the exam.

WHAT ABOUT SECOND YEAR STUDENTS OPEN BOOK EXAMS?

Social media is flooded with the fact that the notification is only for final semester students. If it is true, what about second-year students? On the other hand, first-year students have appeared for their first semester exams in March. So, it is possible and practical to predict that Delhi University have canceled exams of second-year students?

However, this notice is being circulating on social media and whatsapp groups and one of the class teachers confirmed it. Students can ask their teachers and confirm about the official notice. Lastly, Delhi University have not released any official statement regarding cancelation of second year exams.
