The Andhra Pradesh government is planning to reopen schools from 5 September 2020. The state government is yet to take the final decision. It relies upon the circumstance that prevails when the date draws near.

The education minister, Adimulapu Suresh on July 21, 2020, told the reporters after an audit meeting on education met by Jagan Mohan Reddy, the state’s Chief Priest YS.

Jagan Mohan Reddy informed that the government has planned to reopen schools in Andhra Pradesh for physical classes from September 5, 2020. Moreover, the final decision to reopen the school can be changed on the basis of the situation.

This implies the dates are as yet tentative subject to states of the pandemic and the loss of life alongside cases emerging because of it a month later.

Mohan Reddy further added that the dry rations will be circulated among students at their home as a mid-day meal until the schools reopen.

Andhra Pradesh Government is deciding to initiative LKG and UKG classes that is pre-primary education in the government schools this year. However, now this initiative will be followed from the next academic year.

Coaching Classes For Competitive Exams

Additionally coaching classes will be given in junior government colleges for various serious tests like IIIT, AP EAMCET, JEE, and numerous others.

It was decided in the meeting that a Joint Director post will be established at the locale level for enhancing the education standard given in the state.

Suresh informed the media persons that the Chief Minister has requested to make two state-level executive range posts for appropriate usage of English Medium and mid-day meal scheme, Jagananna Gorumudda in government schools.

Suresh further mentioned that in every Mandal of the state the Chief Minister has additionally requested to establish a government college.
