On Wednesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the National recruitment Agency (NRA) will provide equal job opportunities for all the sections of the society, as approved by the Union Cabinet. He also said that the appointment process will be made much more transparent.
The creation of the NRA was approved by the Union Cabinet on Wednesday. The NRA will now conduct a common eligibility test for the central government jobs.

Calling the day, a landmark one for the youth of India, Amit Shah made a series of tweets. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for such an unprecedented step.

GOVT JOB RECRUITMENT MADE MUCH EASIER BY NJRA
The scores of this common eligibility test will be valid for a period of three years, said Amit Shah. He also said that the test will give equal opportunities to all the sections of the society since the test will be in multiple languages and each district will have an exam center.
NRA will provide equal opportunities to all sections of the society as each district will have an exam centre, test will be in multiple languages and CET score will be valid for 3 years. Single test will also reduce the financial burden, which will greatly benefit the candidates.

This historic decision to allow central government job seekers to appear for a single common test will reduce the time taken to write multiple exams and the financial burden.
The media was being briefed by Amit Shah on the cabinet meeting which was chaired by the PM and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar.
