All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has extended the deadline to register online for its Saksham and Pragati Scholarships till 31st December. Students eligible for the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Scholarship schemes can apply online and submit their applications till 31st December 2020.
The AICTE has further extended the last date for the first level of verification of online applications by institutions of students approved by AICTE which includes submission of effective applications, and an additional level of verification by nodal officers of respective states till 15th January 2021 and 31st January 2021 respectively.
All India Council for Technical Education provides scholarship schemes for differently-abled students (Saksham) and for girl students (Pragati) who are pursuing technical diploma courses and technical degree courses.

CBSE SCHOLARSHIP FOR GIRLS; APPLICATIONS OUT
Indian girl students who are in their first year of college or first semester of their technical degree program at AICTE approved instituted can seek the Pragati scholarship. Students who have already availed of it in the previous year can also apply for renewal of their scholarships.
Differently abled candidates or students who are pursuing a technical degree course in AICTE or technical diploma in AICTE approved institutes can avail of the AICTE Saksham Scholarship.
FOREIGN FIRMS OFFER FEWER PACKAGES IN ONLINE IIT PLACEMENTS
AICTE through its social media platform announced that the last date for submission of online applications under the AICTE Saksham Scholarship-scheme for differently-abled students and the AICTE Pragati Scholarship Scheme for girl students has been extended till 31st December 2020.
