All India Technical Education Council has published the revised Academic Calendar for the 2021-22 session. The revised AICTE calendar has been released on the official website that is aicte-india.org. The calendar is divided into two parts. The first part is for the technical association. The second section is for individual PGDM/PGCM institutes and the third is for institutions having old/online programs/courses.

According to the calendar, by June 30, 2021the Council will discontinue the grant of approvals to technical institutes, standalone PGDM/PGCM programs, and institutions offering ODL/online courses for this year. Other than this, it has been said that the last date for the grant of affiliation by the university or committee is July 15, 2021.

WHEN WILL THE CLASSES FOR TECHNICAL STUDENTS START

In addition, the academic calendar states that the last date for starting classes for existing students of technical courses is September 1, 2021. Whereas classes for current and new students in standalone PGDM/PGCM institutions will be begun from 2 August 2021.

Moreover, AICTE approved universities and institutions are instructed to follow the guidelines of AICTE/UGC on examinations allocated from time to time because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the prescribed protocols/guidelines regarding the pandemic. Additional classes can start online/offline or in mixed mode.
