A collaboration of CBSE and the All Indian Council Of Teaching Education (AICTE) aims to train approximately 50,000 school teachers. Thus, Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Education Minister along with Arjun Munda, the union minister of tribal affairs launched the Innovation Ambassador Training Program. Also, this program was launched today, i.e. 16th July 2021.
The ambassador training program is the brainchild of the ministry of education along with the All India Council of Teaching Education (AICTE). Thus, the training course will be conducted via online mode and will be free of any cost.

What is the Innovation Ambassador Training Program of AICTE?
The program is specially designed for school teachers. Thus, they will be given training in innovation, entrepreneurship, idea generation, IPR, design thinking, and product development. Hence, the program aims to enhance the work of school teachers. Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, the education minister says “We aim to make the teachers change agents and ambassadors of innovation.” Hence, this will indirectly make the students efficient and future-ready. The minister believes that teachers are the biggest influence in student’s life and have a major role in shaping their future.
Mr. Arjun Munda, the tribal affairs minister added that this initiative will assist a large number of children studying in tribal schools. Thus, children all across the country will get a platform where they can share new ideas with the world and give something different. Teachers can then help the children by giving wings to their creativity.

As per statistics, 49,031 registrations have been made by school teachers across 29 states. Also, 320 nominations have been made from 54 CBSE affiliated schools.

CBSE always looks forward to training teachers and bring them at par with the recent trends. Hence, this initiative by AICTE and CBSE is a sincere effort to effuse innovation and creative tendency. Those teachers who complete the training will be given the tag of ‘Innovation Ambassadors’.
