Professor Anurag Rathore of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has been awarded the ‘Thought Leader Award’ by Agilent Technologies. The award is for the glory of his contribution to biopharmaceutical research and his work in advanced strategies for molecular characterization of biosimilars.
Rathore, who is in the Chemical Engineering Department of IIT Delhi, proclaimed that he feels happy to be selected for an Agilent koi Thought Leader Award.
The 2020 award encompasses awards to support research personnel and Agilent equipment, comprising the 6545XT AdvanceBio LC / Q-TOF, a Bravo Automated Liquid Handling Platform, and a 1290 Infinity II 2D-LC system.
Rathore is the first Indian researcher to obtain the award. The prize money will be utilized to stimulate academic-based research on critical regions involving the biopharmaceutical industry.
He further added that the award will inspire me to work hard as we seek to give rise to the technologies and products we are functioning on to the market.

Work in Rathore’s lab will concentrate on the best methods in molecular characterization of monoclonal antibody-based desmillers. Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) include a significant and accumulating group of biopharmaceutical drugs that are utilized to treat many diseases and circumstances.
