With the government banning Chinese mobile applications newly owing to border conflicts in east Ladakh, some of the country’s exclusive technological institutes, especially the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), have assured bringing in “innovative replacements” to restore the gap. Innovation knows no barriers and nowhere is this reasonable exemplified as in the new procedure.
Owing to the political conflicts between India and China, the government had banned 59 Chinese applications referring to protection reasons. Pursuing this growth, technical institutions have granted statements confirming that they would come up with indigenous technology to restore the Chinese versions.
IIT Kanpur director Abhay Karandikar through his social media account announced that Our technological invention is second to none in the world, and He is confident that they will soon see not only agreeably but also innovative alternate apps created by Indians for Indians.

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), has also declared that it is planning to initiate a competition with a belief to motivate the invention of alternate apps.
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) chairperson Anil Sahasrabudhe through his social media account said that the AICTE in association with different ministries and govt departments hopes to launch competition and help those who formulate replacement apps.
In backing of the Indian Government’s ban on Chinese smartphone apps, the IIT Alumni Council declared that all initiatives containing MegaLab would instantly eliminate all Chinese systems and software. The Council has been struggling energetically for the last few weeks with several technical institutes of excellence, research institutions for formulating indigenous and cost-effective outcomes to restore Chinese systems and software examines the official statement of IIT Alumni Council.
It will be destroying all Chinese software and strategies from its Megalab initiative developed to contain COVID-19 spread, explained by The Council, an alumni body comprising of members from all the IITs.
