Many Indian actors have secured their roles in big-budget Hollywood projects. The year still holds promise for Indian stars who are making their mark on the world stage even though the COVID-19 pandemic may have thrown film release schedules off track.

DHANUSH

South superstar Dhanush is staking his claim over the Hollywood projects with Russo Brothers’ big-budget Hollywood film ‘The Gray Man’.  Starring Chris Evans at the helm, Dhanush might play the antagonist who is one of the heads of the “kill team”. Evans will be on the hunt to take down the character played by Ryan Gosling. ‘The Gray Man’ boasts of an ensemble cast that will also feature Ana de Armas in the lead and is being made on a huge USD 200 million budget.

PRIYANKA CHOPRA

There has been no impediment in Priyanka Chopra’s way in bagging big-budgeted Hollywood projects. The actress has a calendar full of exciting Hollywood web series and films even though she has no Bollywood film in her kitty. She will also feature in the fourth installment of the hit sci-fi film ‘The Matrix’, alongside Carrie-Anne-Moss and Keanu Reeves besides bagging a lead role in a Russo Brothers’ web series.

FARHAN AKHTAR

Earlier this month, Farhan Akhtar made jaws drop when we got to know that he had bagged a role in an upcoming project backed by Marvel Studios. It was reported, shortly after the news broke, that the actor has been signed for the hugely anticipated series ‘Ms. Marvel’ has Iman Vellani playing the role of the superheroine- Kamala Khan.

HUMA QURESHI

Actress Huma Qureshi also dropped surprise about her Hollywood debut. The star revealed in a simple tweet that she will feature in director Zack Snyder’s upcoming zombie heist film ‘Army of the Dead’. She got her moment to shine in the first trailer although she is playing a “small part” in the highly anticipated flick.

ALI FAZAL

Ali Fazal has come a long way from starring in ‘Furious 7’ to the Oscar-nominated ‘Victoria and Abdul’ to now bagging a prominent role in ‘Death on the Nile’. About his role in the Kenneth Branagh directorial, much has been kept under wraps. The drama also stars Armie Hammer and Gal Gadot which is an adaption of Agatha Christie’s novel by the same name.
