As per the sources, the Aarogya Setu app could be used for self-certification for interstate travel and movement. Following this the e-pass can be confirmed.
This App can become a facilitator for traveling in India and the government of India is currently working on this idea if the Aarogya setu app can serve to facilitate travel in-between states.
Indian railways have also made it mandatory to install the Aarogya setu on their mobile phones for all the passengers. This idea was put forth only after that.
Very strict legal provisions can also be there like providing false/ incorrect information on the Aarogya Setu app that could land you in Jail. This plan will be discussed by the government with the stakeholders.
“Indian Railways is going to start a few passenger train services. It is mandatory for passengers to download Aarogya Setu app in their mobile phones, before commencing their journey,” a tweet by Indian railways said.
After the resumption of train services by the Indian railways for special and shramik trains, it was made mandatory for all passengers to install the Aarogya Setu app and to get their declarations verified.
Tickets are being booked on the official site of IRCTC.
While traveling in or to Noida, the Aarogya setu app is mandatory already. Even being indoors without this App on your mobile phones will be considered a crime.
Airlines might also make it mandatory for passengers flying in order to facilitate self- certification before they board a flight.
PM Narendra Modi did give initial hints about the use of the Aarogya setu in facilitating travel within the country.
