A Multi prolonged cyberwar is already on full swing against China. Amid such an environment, the Indian Army took a decision to ban 89 Apps for personal taking into the security considerations.
The banned apps include Facebook, Instagram, cam scanner, Xender, PUBG, Tinder, ZOOM, Shareit, TikTok among others.
This decision has come only after it was targeted by the intelligence agencies that there has been an “exponential rise” in the number of cases recently.
The list of the apps which are banned include at least 14 messaging platforms, 4 video hosting sites, 3 content-sharing sites, 5 gaming apps including PUBG, and about 15 dating apps.
The Indian Army has even warned of action against the personnel who do not delete the apps by 15 July.
