The result for UPSC Civil Services Exam 2020 (Main) has been announced by the Union Public Service Commission. Reportedly, 8 students from JMI (Jamia Millia Islamia) residential academy have qualified for the mains level of the exam and will now be appearing for the interview. These 8 Candidates took guidance from the residential coaching academy of Jamia Millia Islamia and were trained and coached there.
With the help of experts in respective fields, senior/retired bureaucrats, officials, and academicians, the residential coaching academy of Jamia Millia Islamia (RCA JMI) will now conduct a series of Mock interviews and interactive sessions as well to help the qualified candidates.
More than a thousand students have been coached in RCA JMI since its inception till now. Around 350 candidates have cleared the examinations and secured a job in central and state services, (UPSC Civil Services included).
The Residential Coaching Academy of Jamia Hamdard is situated within the campus of the University. On the recommendation of the Sachar Committee Report, RCA Jamia was established in September 2009 to uplift and increase the proportion of candidates in Central and State services amongst Minorities, SCs, STs, and women.
Free coaching and guidance is provided to civil services aspirants in this academy and the facility is exclusively for minority. This includes women candidates and all candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, and Scheduled Tribe category.
This residential coaching academy is a part of the University’s commitment to nation-building. Here, students are provided several facilities like free accommodation, library facility, classroom teaching, practice sets, study materials, 24×7 library facility, and Wi-Fi.
