The Delhi Police have arrested a Delhi University, DU student for allegedly uploading a girl’s photos and creating her fake profile on social media platforms. The victim was subsequently disturbed from the obscene calls from unknown numbers and she was experiencing from mental trauma.
Moreover, emails were sent to Instagram and Facebook during the investigation. After a detailed investigation of the suspect numbers a suspect, distinguished as Umesh Kumar, has been captured.
Police mentioned that the accused, an inhabitant of Sangam Vihar. Kumar is currently pursuing his BA in the second year from Delhi University and he admitted his wrongdoing.
A 21-year-old Delhi University, DU student was arrested for harassing a girl in the South Delhi area. Police said that he wanted to take revenge from the victim.

Kumar confessed that be he was friends with the girl’s elder sister. He added that his friendship ended in March this year. For this, he blamed the girl (Victim) and as a result, he decided to harass the victim by using her photos to make a fake profile. DCP South Atul Thakur said Kumar leaked her mobile number and upload obscene posts, comments with them.
