Delhi University School of Open Learning (SOL) offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Online and offline sale & receipt of Undergraduate admission application form for session 2017-2018 has started from 1 June 2017. Admission will open from July for undergraduate courses and postgraduate admission will begin from August. SOL offer undergraduate degree in B.A. (Prog.), B.A. Political Science (Hons.), B.A. English (Hons.), B.Com (Hons.) and B.Com (Prog.). Through online mode, students can apply for the course by filling application form available on website of SOL along with its prospectus. The last date for application is July 31st. Late submission of application is allowed after paying a penalty fee of Rs. 100 till August 31st and Rs. 200 till September 15th.

Eligibility Criteria for University of Delhi Correspondence Courses 2017-

1. B.A. (Prog.) & B.Com (Prog.)

Student must be passed with 40% in Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education, or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto, or Pre-University Examination of an Indian university recognized by the University of Delhi, or Intermediate Examination of an Indian university board, or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.

2. B.A. (Hons.) English

Candidates securing 70% marks in the English Core Language or 60% marks in English Elective in Class XII and 60% in aggregate in Senior School Certificate Examination, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, or an examination recognized as equivalent to the above will be eligible for direct admission.

3. B.A (Hons.) Political Science

Students having at least 45% in the aggregate with Political Science in any of the examinations recognized by the University of Delhi are eligible.Student securing 60% marks in the aggregate without Political Science in Class XII will be eligible for direct admission in Political Science (Honors) first year.

4. B.Com (Hons.)

Minimum Eligibility Criteria include 55% Aggregate, or 60% Aggregate of the vocational/technical stream with commerce. The number of seats in Business Data Processing (Subsidiary) for B.Com (Hons.) is limited and admission will be on the basis of merit.

For Online admission process scanned copy of all the essential documents listed below, as applicable, have to be uploaded at the time of registration:

 

(i) Students passed from CBSE 2016 (Delhi Region, opted compulsory languages courses as English A or B/ Hindi A or B/Punjabi A/ Urdu A/ Tamil A of the B.Com and B.A. Programme have to upload following documents:

  1. Recent Photograph and Signature

  2. Other educational documents will not be uploaded at the time of admission. However, on demand, it will need to be produced/uploaded as per requirement.

(ii) Students passed from CBSE 2016 (Delhi Region, opted compulsory languages courses as English-C/Hindi-C/Punjabi-B/Urdu-B/Tamil-B of the B.Com and B.A. Programme and students applying for B.Com (Hons.)Pol.Sci. has to upload following documents:

  1. Recent Photograph and Signature

  2. Self-Attested copy of Class-X and XII Mark sheet.

(iii) For Students from other than CBSE Boards, CBSE compartment cases and CBSE (Non-Delhi Region) have to upload the following documents:

  1. Recent Photograph and Signature

  2. Self-Attested copy of Class-X and XII Certificate and Mark sheet(current students can send scanned copy of the Provisional Certificate)

  3. Scanned copy of Migration Certificate (if the candidates studied from boards other than Delhi like NIOS, UP,Bihar,Haryana, Rajasthan etc.)

(iv) Students applying against the reserved (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/etc.) and BPL category have to upload the following documents, as applicable, in addition to the above mentioned documents.

  1. Self-Attested copy of Reverse Category Certificate of the candidates only, if applicable (SC/ST/OBC/PWD etc. candidates) certificate of the candidate must be have been issued before the date of admission.

  2. Self-attested copy of Original Income Certificate, if applying for fee concession/Financial Assistance.

  3. Self-attested copy of BPL/AAY Ration Card, if applying for Financial Assistance.

 

For offline admission process following documents are required:

  • Duly filled admission Form and Identity Card proforma.

  • Two recent passport size photographs to be affixed one on the Application form and another on Identity Card proforma.

  • Self-Attested photocopy of Class-X Certificate and Mark Sheet.

  • Self-Attested copy of Class -XII Certificate and Mark Sheet.

  • Scanned copy of Migration certificate (If the candidates studied from the boards other than Delhi like NIOS UP, Bihar, Haryana and Rajasthan etc.)

  • Self-attested copy of Reserve Category Certificate of the candidates if applicable (SC/ST/PWD etc.) The certificate of the candidate must be issued before the date of admission.

  • Self-attested copy of Original Income Certificate, if applying for fee concession/financial Assistance.

  • Self-attested copy of BPL Ration Card, if applying for Financial Assistance.

For offline process, carry original documents and two photocopy of each document.  To stay out of any trouble, prepare all the required documents beforehand and check once again before going.

  1. My registration is done in 2016 but I have not appear in the examination on 2017 I want to know what is the process to appear in the examination of 2018

  2. my name is anushka sharma and this year i was 12th class and i have a compartment in one subject but this subject i was clear in compartment exam and after that i will fill the application in dusol form and my course was b.com but they will not fill the form complete this will stop at that time when i was fill the 12th class detail so please reply my question why i am not fill the form of dusol. i hope you will consider my humble request and you will find solution of my problem .
